• For each trailer to be registered:

  • The serial number or VIN number.

  • Manufacturer's name.

  • Year of manufacture.

  • Make and model.

  • Style or type.

  • The number of years you want each trailer registered.

  • For renewal registrations for trailers already registered with the State of Maine, the Maine license plate number for each trailer.
     

• If registering the trailer as an individual, your Social Security Number and date of birth.
   

• If registering the trailer as a company or corporation, your Federal ID Number.
   

• Complete contact information, mail to and ship to addresses, phone, FAX and email address.

Other Information

The State of Maine titles trailers for only 15 years.  Trailers older than 15 years can be registered in Maine but cannot be titled in Maine.

All State of Maine trailer license plates expire on the last day of February on the year for which the trailer is registered.
